quick gift

http://www.altard.com/  Is a web site I love to look at and hope to make a few things like she does. Her daughter has a friend that has Lupus and was being picked on at school . A bunch of people made her some cute headbands. I made a few as well. It was something fun to do and it is a fun craft as it goes quick.  I think I will make some more . 

I need to start my project for Shaina. I hope it is going to be a cute table and chair set when done.  Photos will be posted soon.

I guess I must really like Little B quilt as I put it on twice... sorry for the two people who read this.  This quilt I made for relay for life. It was cute fun and quick.

I am really going to try to update at least once a week. Then maybe I will show more of my friends and others to look.  Today was a nice day I had fun with my friend's baby and my new book came in the mail.
One Thousand Gifts- by Ann Voskamp.  I bought one for me and my daughter .  She makes me happy to be a Mom. I love the cover of this book. ...A dare to live fully right where you are. More posts to follow about this I am sure.

I have not been very good with this blog and want to post something once a week.  I have only told one person about my blog at this point as I want it to be a little better before I  tell my friends. So sweet pea thanks for being such a cool daughter and when you come home maybe you can help me .

My good friend Deb gave me a sweet little notebook with a note to use it as a blessing book. I thought about doing that for a few years so I knew this was the year to start! When I was looking at my all time FAVORITE blog she talked about one little word. I just knew I would do this. What word would I use???? I knew God would give me right one and really wanted a cool one but one word kept coming back to me TRUST. I can't wait to see the journey  this will take me on. Maybe even a little scared but I know I will learn.


I have so much to learn about doing a blog but I think it will be fun. When I am not crafting I love to look at blogs so I thought it was time to have one. Don't be tough on me yet though- I still have a lot to learn.
